Overview: | Assembly workers assist with the overall production of Arnott’s air suspension products. Some workers are responsible for the disassembly of used materials that will later be refurbished and assembled into various parts and materials, installation units, or product, while others focus their efforts strictly on the assembly of the finished product. Assembly workers at each station perform particular tasks that contribute to the production effort. |

Environment and Physical Activity: |
The environment for this position is an open production area that is subject weather conditions including extreme heat – temperatures can potentially rise to 100 degrees or more for periods of more than one hour; noise that is sufficient to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level; hazards including working close to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, exposure to chemicals and working at elevated levels. The worker may be subject to fumes, odors, dusts or mists. In the course of performing the duties of the position the worker spends time speaking, listening, lifting (up to 35 pounds), carrying, sitting, pulling, pushing, walking, squatting, kneeling, reaching and standing for prolonged periods. There is a possibility of forklift operation as necessary. Safety awareness and compliance with safety regulations is vital. Workers must wear special safety equipment such as masks, gloves, and safety glasses. |

The incumbent in this position must be able to: read and interpret documents or instruments, perform highly detailed work, perform mathematical functions and work well as a member of a team. |
